VISION ZERO AND ‘THE GREAT RESET’ – DIGITALIZATION FOR PREVENTION
VISION ZERO AND ‘THE GREAT RESET’ – DIGITALIZATION FOR PREVENTION
PRESENTATION
With its Great Reset initiative, the World Economic Forum has called on world leaders to join a global discourse for a new and better future for people and planet. The Global OSH Community has responded to this call, and expressed its readiness to contribute to a safer, healthier and more sustainable post-COVID world of work. To unlock the unique potential prevention holds in this respect, it is however necessary to address four important challenges, which are to change mind-sets, to create new incentives, to introduce new metrics and to benefit from digitalisation.
In line with the overall theme of the World Congress “Prevention in the Connected Age: global solutions to achieve safe and healthy work for all”, this side event will address the fourth challenges – the risks and opportunities of digitalization for safety, health and wellbeing at work.
New prevention strategies, such as ‘Safety2.0’ and ‘New Way of Working’, as well as innovative digital prevention concepts and solutions based on Big Data, AI and IoT will be presented by leading international experts and senior HSE managers from renowned companies.
