ANNUAL

REPORT

2022

2022 can be set as the closing of the COVID-19 pandemic. The new normality took hold in the global world of work with new work realities such as the different modalities of hybrid work. The One Health concept was formalised as a global goal. We have only one health, we cannot focus only on occupational health. Health is unique and work and its conditions have to help us to preserve and reinforce it. For this reason, and because one of the global challenges today is to pay more attention and resources to mental health and environmental health, the ORP International Foundation paid great attention throughout 2022 to the contents related to these topics without forgetting, of course, the technological demands that modify labour sectors and also working conditions and habits. Being attentive to evolution is a requirement as well as excellence.

For this reason, year after year, we seek out and bring together scientific, research, business and professional leaders – in all sectors and fields of action – to keep the ORP community up to date at the highest level. The International ORP Foundation has strengthened its global will and its capacity for projection and influence testifies to this.

The Foundation’s calendar of congresses and conferences combined face-to-face and virtual events. A total of 4 face-to-face events were held – an annual congress and three symposiums, forums or summits also broadcast online – and 17 online conferences. All these events, in total, attracted 1,799,357 online views -live or deferred-. This figure is an indication of the global consolidation and worldwide influence that FIORP has achieved. These results are, in fact, an incentive and a reference to continue with its activity as a benchmark in knowledge transfer and dissemination of healthy business.

It should also be noted that up to 45 countries from five continents were represented at these events in which 182 speakers took part.

One of the milestones of 2022 for FIORP is the inclusion of the 5Z preventive culture model in the Tokyo Declaration of the Japan 2022 Vision Zero Summit. This recognition identifies it as a tool to achieve the goal of safety, health and well-being at the corporate level. This initiative of the Foundation evolves to improve the well-being of people in general from occupational spaces.

In these pages you will find a complete overview of the year 2022 of the ORP International Foundation. A work that would not have been possible without the support and collaboration of companies, academic centres, research organisations, administrative and governmental institutions and professionals who form part of the scientific, business and institutional advisory committees.
