The COVID-19 pandemic marked the organizational activity from the beginning to the end of the year in 2021 and the International Foundation remained a benchmark in knowledge and dissemination of the healthy company. The work of the Foundation expands its area of influence year after year, not only for Spanish-speaking countries but also in the English-speaking and global sphere thanks to the Vision Zero and The Great Reset sessions or through sessions such as the ‘World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2021 African Event’. Chinese and Portuguese have also been vehicular languages in ORP sessions.
These pages detail the volume of FIORP’s total activity, which, above all, has as its basic and fundamental objective the achievement of a safe, healthy and sustainable society through the main value of global exchange: knowledge.
The 5Z preventive culture, a combination of the Vision Zero principles and the sustainable development goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, has been well received by the International Social Security Association (ISSA), the Occupational Safety and Health Institute ( IOSH), the International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH) and the International Labor Organization (ILO).
In addition, the Foundation’s ability to coordinate and manage events and activities has created a dynamic of constant collaboration with these organizations and has contributed to the selection of FIORP as the person in charge of the virtual organization of Japan SUMMIT 2022, which will meet again in the country Asian to the global OSH elite.
The Foundation’s conference calendar maintained its activity thanks to the celebration, in March, of the first ‘Vision Zero and The Great Reset’, totally online. In July, the first hybrid congress in the history of ORP took place with the congress ‘Hybrid prevention for versatile work’. This event had two face-to-face venues -Cartagena de Indias (Colombia) and Barcelona (Spain) and seven virtual rooms, among which the one for the special session ‘Vision Zero and The Great Reset for The Americas’ should be highlighted.
In September, the LEAN ORP Santiago de Compostela recovered face-to-face attendance -without forgetting the virtual public- with two days dedicated to the holistic vision of 5Z preventive culture.
In total, 29 conferences and conferences were broadcast on the Internet with a total of 31,223 views. Up to 45 countries from the five continents were represented at these events in which 182 speakers participated.
Globality, the ability to reach every corner of the planet, has undoubtedly been a growth value for FIORP in 2021.
