PRESENTATION – LEAN Japan 2025

Intelligence, Prevention, and the Future of Work

We are living in a crucial moment in the evolution of the working world. It is not just the magnitude of change that challenges us, but its speed and the way it impacts our lives. In this era of transformation, we must reflect on the true purpose of work and the importance of harmonizing it with personal and collective well-being.

From an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) perspective, this reflection becomes even more significant. Understanding health as a comprehensive concept—physical, mental, and social—compels us not only to prevent traditional risks but also to anticipate emerging challenges in increasingly dynamic and technology-driven work environments.

Artificial intelligence, robotics, and data-driven decision-making promise a future with fewer physical workplace accidents. However, they also raise new questions about mental well-being and human adaptation to this new paradigm.

In this context, Japan is the ideal setting for this conversation. A country that not only leads in technological innovation but also faces demographic and labor integration challenges that reflect the future-of-work challenges on a global scale.

Lean ORP Japan is part of the Global Initiative for Safety, Health, and Wellbeing (GISHW), expanding opportunities for learning and networking for all participants. In addition to the conferences and specific Lean ORP sessions, attendees will have access to GISHW activities at EXPO 2025 and INTEX Osaka, providing a rich and multidimensional experience.

At the ORP Foundation, our mission is to drive a workplace transformation that puts people at the center, promoting a smart prevention culture aligned with technological advancements and global challenges. With commitment, innovation, and international collaboration, we are shaping a future of work that is safer, healthier, and more sustainable.

Welcome to Lean ORP Japan. Together, let’s build the future of work.
