PRESENTATION – Congress Zaragoza 2024

Digitising OSH: Strategic Planning and Foresight

Digitalisation has radically transformed the way in which organisations approach Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), imposing the need for strategic planning and a proactive vision. In this context, the event “Digitalisation of OSH: Strategic Planning and Foresight” is a meeting place designed to explore the challenges and opportunities that this new technological era presents in the field of occupational safety.

Digitalisation has not only altered the way occupational risks are managed, but has also revolutionised the way data related to occupational safety and health is collected, analysed and used. This digital transformation offers innovative tools and technologies that can boost efficiency, effectiveness and accident prevention in the workplace.

At this Congress, several key topics related to the digitalisation of OSH will be addressed. The importance of sound strategic planning to adapt to technological changes and make the most of new opportunities will be discussed. Best practices in the implementation of digital solutions for occupational risk management, from remote monitoring systems to mobile applications for incident reporting, will be explored.

The key role of foresight in digitalised OSH will also be examined, highlighting the importance of anticipating and mitigating emerging risks associated with the introduction of new technologies in the workplace. Case studies will be discussed, practical experiences will be shared and knowledge exchange between experts, OSH practitioners and business leaders will be encouraged.

In short, “Digitalisation of OSH: Strategic Planning and Foresight” is presented as a unique opportunity to explore how digitalisation is redefining the OSH landscape and how organisations can effectively prepare to meet these challenges and take advantage of the benefits that technology offers in this field.
