The International Association of Labor Inspection joins the FIORP Institutional Advisory Committee

It is the global professional association of labor inspection specialists and has more than 50 years of history.

Siong Hin Ho, President of the International Association of Labor Inspectors (IALI) has signed the collaboration agreement that incorporates, as a new member of the organization that he presides, a member of the Institutional Advisory Committee of the International ORP Foundation (FIORP). The IALI is the global professional association of labor inspection specialists made up of more than 100 organizations from around the world. “Labor inspection must adapt to a changing reality and continued disruption, generating good practice guidelines with special attention to mental health and psychosocial risks,” said Hin Ho during ORP 2023 in Bilbao.

The IALI, headquartered in Switzerland, celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2022 as a leading reference for labor inspection organizations and professionals.

Current IALI Challenges

IALI members receive updated information for the improvement of labor inspection services. The association lays the foundations to build a professional, ethical and effective labor inspection throughout the world. Among its current challenges have been listed those related to new forms of work: work on platforms, teleworking, hybrid work, etc.
