RRIOSH Kazakhstan joins the institutional committee of the ORP International Foundation

Republic Research Institute For Occupational Safety and Health (RRIOSH) of the Ministry of Labor and Social protection of Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan consists of three main areas of activity: Scientific Research, Training & Education and Certification of production facilities for the conditions of work.

The general director of the Republic Research Institute For Occupational Safety and Health, Dr. Sholpan Abikenova, has signed the collaboration agreement for RRIOSH to join the institutional committee of the ORP International Foundation.

The structural division of the research departments of the Kazakh institute is composed of:

Department of biomonitoring and occupational hygiene.
Department of social and legal research.
Department of economic measurements and statistics.

“The decision of the Kazakhstan Institute to join the institutional committee of the Foundation demonstrates its strong commitment to the promotion of safety and health at work and its interest in fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange at an international level. The first milestone that both organizations have set is to work together for the next KIOSH – KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION congress,” said Pablo R. Nieto, vice president of the Foundation.
