The corporate purpose is to foster, develop, promote and disseminate Occupational Health and Safety; Industrial Hygiene; Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology and Occupational Medicine and Nursing, as well as all those disciplines and techniques relating to the protection and promotion of the health of people at work and the fight against occupational hazards and accidents at work. Its corporate purpose also includes continuing education in the field of these specialities and the defence of the professional interests of its members.
