The Pontifical Catholic University of Peru is a private Peruvian university located in the city of Lima, Peru. It was founded on March 24, 1917 by the priest Jorge Dintilhac, of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts, as ‘Universidad Católica del Perú’, being the oldest private university in the country.
