REPORT

2023

In the year 2023, the ORP International Foundation faced new and exciting challenges in the field of Occupational Health and Safety. The emergence of Artificial Intelligence and the redefinition of working conditions led the Foundation to rethink the very foundations of human labour.

Through events such as ORP Days, ORP Congress 2023, Lean ORP Lima, Lean ORP Bogotá and the Employability Forum, the complexities and OSH measures needed to address the changes in the world of work were explored.

The 23rd International ORP Congress, held in Bilbao in 2023, became a leading event in the field of Occupational Health and Safety. For three days, it brought together more than 218 speakers from five continents and nearly 1,300 attendees, making the city the world capital of OSH.

Under the slogan “At Work: One Life, One Planet”, the congress focused on the mentality of change and progress in OSH, relying on artificial intelligence, collaborative robotics and the creation of safe spaces to promote attention to mental health in companies.

The innovative and differential approach was key in the face of the complexity and uncertainty of today’s workplace landscape. The ORP Foundation sought to establish healthy, safe, sustainable, sensitive and unique workplaces that accommodate individual differences and harmonise with our lives.

This annual report presents a comprehensive overview of the key events and congresses of the year 2023, as well as economic figures and statistics reflecting the impact of these actions.

With the announcement of the next ORP 2024 congress, to be held in Chile, the ORP Foundation continues its commitment to creating a humane, adaptable and sustainable working environment.

In summary, 2023 was a year of reflection, innovation and evolution for the ORP International Foundation, taking advantage of the opportunities that the age of Artificial Intelligence offers to redefine work and life in an interconnected and technologically advanced world.
