IGSAP of Japan, new member of the institutional advisory committee of the International ORP Foundation

Both institutions actively collaborate in the development and promotion of a global prevention culture based on Vision Zero

Dr. Toshihiro Fujita, Director of the Institute of Global Safety Promotion (IGSAP) of Japan, has signed the collaboration agreement that makes the Japanese institution a member of the institutional advisory committee of the International ORP Foundation (FIORP). This body, formed by Occupational Health and Safety organizations of national and international reference, acts as a space for collaboration and consultation before the organization of ORP events.

Wellbeing technology

One of the most prominent areas of IGSAP‘s work is cutting-edge wellness technology, including, for example, the robot safety rating system. With collaborative robots in the workplace, safety measures in an environment where humans and robots coexist have become increasingly important.

For safety measures of industrial robot systems, system integrators and end users need personnel who have precise knowledge of risk assessment and reduction methods. The knowledge obtained allows us to implement innovative security measures and establish their bases in laws and regulations.
